Subject Overview

The OCR Cambridge Technical Diploma (worth two A Levels) and Extended Certificate (worth one A Level). 

These qualifications are perfect for anyone who wishes to pursue a career in the caring sector. The broad range of units we cover enables students to develop skills which are transferable to many different careers, including nursing, midwifery, dentistry, elderly care, paediatrics

Health and Social Care Diploma – 1 2 A Levels

The diploma extended certificate qualification is worth two one A Levels so will involve 10 lessons a week. Some of these lessons will take place at Aldridge School as we are offering the diploma in partnership with them.  Students who choose this option will take one other A Level or BTEC in addition to Health and Social Care.
